What is the Adventure Board?
The Adventure Board is a wooden noticeboard in the town square of Aeven, next to the Wise Man and the Alduin Merchant. Every day it has 3 daily adventures for you, and every week 5 weekly adventures: hunt monsters, go fishing, explore Alduin, help defeat bosses, finish quests and more. Every adventurer gets their own mix, picked for their level.
How it works
- Walk to the Adventure Board in Aeven and click it (on a phone: tap it).
- Pick the Daily or Weekly tab and press Accept on the adventures you want. You can have all of them at once.
- Play! Only what you do after accepting counts. Your progress is counted by the game itself, wherever you are.
- When an adventure is complete you get a short notice. Press Claim Reward: in the adventure tracker, or in the board's window.
The small adventure tracker in the corner of the screen shows your accepted adventures and their progress. Minimize it to one line or hide it; the board's window has a box to show it again. Clicking the tracker opens your adventures at any time, wherever you are (accepting new ones needs the board).
Daily and weekly adventures
- Daily adventures change every day at the same time. Weekly adventures change once a week.
- The window shows how long is left, and the exact time in your own time zone.
- When a new day or week starts, unclaimed rewards of the old one are gone: claim them in time!
- Each set has an easy, a medium and a hard adventure (the week: two easy, two medium and one hard).
Examples of adventures:
| Monster Hunter | Defeat a number of monsters anywhere | |
| Pest Control | Defeat a kind of monster that suits your level | |
| Regional Patrol | Defeat monsters in one region | |
| Variety Hunter | Defeat different kinds of monsters | |
| Gone Fishing | Catch fish at the [[world/aeven-fishing-docks | Aeven Fishing Docks]] |
| Out and About | Visit places in and around Aeven | |
| Odd Jobs | Complete a quest | |
| Boss Hunter | Help defeat a boss such as the [[monsters/hula-guardian | Hula Guardian]] |
| Daily Devotion | Claim daily adventures during the week |
Fair play
- Kills count for whoever gets the experience: you, or your party members on the same map. Your pet's damage is yours, so kills made with your pet count for you.
- A boss counts for everyone who dealt enough damage, whoever lands the last hit.
- Fishing counts fish you actually catch. Casting or a fish that gets away doesn't count.
- Gold adventures count gold from selling loot or fish to shopkeepers.
Rewards
Every adventure shows its reward before you accept it: gold, experience (it grows with your level), sometimes Alduin Coins and always Adventure Reputation. Hard adventures pay the most.
If your bag is full, items from a reward go to your bank locker, so nothing is lost. If the locker is full as well, make some room and claim again.
Completion bonuses
Claim all 3 daily adventures for the daily completion bonus (gold, experience, reputation and a chance at Alduin Coins). Claim all 5 weekly adventures for the bigger weekly completion bonus, with a small chance at the Pathfinder's Cap, a hat you can only get there. Each bonus can be claimed once per day or week.
Adventure Reputation
Every claimed adventure and bonus adds Adventure Reputation. It never resets, and it unlocks rewards. Open the Reputation tab on the board to claim them:
| 100 | Title: Novice Adventurer |
| 500 | Title: Adventurer |
| 1,500 | Title: Veteran Adventurer |
| 3,000 | The Adventurer's Hat |
| 5,000 | Title: Master Adventurer |
You can wear any title you have earned, or take it off again, in the Reputation tab.
Events
During events such as Halloween, the board also has event adventures: defeating Halloween monsters, finding the Hollow Graveyard or breaking Hollowmaw's curse. They only appear while the event is on. If an event ends before you finish one, it is replaced with a regular adventure.
On the website
Press View on the website in the board's window to see your adventures, progress and reputation on the Adventure Board page. It only shows them: accepting and claiming happen in the game. The page stays signed in on that browser for 30 days, or until you press Sign out. No password is ever asked for.
Tips
- Accept your adventures before you go hunting or fishing: earlier kills don't count.
- Hard adventures give the most reputation. Weekly adventures are worth planning for.
- Fishing adventures need a Fishing Rod from Old Finn at the docks.
