Every autumn the mists roll into Aeven. Halloween turns the town into Haunted Aeven, opens the Hollow Graveyard and brings a special quest, event monsters, a Halloween market and a pet you can only earn during the event.

Hollow Graveyard - Event drops
Halloween Candy (1–3, about 1 in 41 kills)
Halloween starts automatically on 20 October and ends on 2 November (UTC). When it ends, Aeven returns to normal; this guide stays here for next year.
How to take part
Just go to Aeven while the event is on. If Aeven looks dark or empty when you arrive, refresh your browser page (F5) to load the Halloween graphics.
Haunted Aeven
The whole town turns to autumn dusk with jack-o'-lanterns and spooky decorations. New visitors arrive:
- the Pumpkin Keeper, who starts the event quest;
- Hazel the Little Witch, who helps you on the curse's trail;
- the Ghostly Merchant, who sells Halloween Candy (30 gold), Health Potions and Big Health Potions.

The Hollow Graveyard
Behind the churchyard gate lies the Hollow Graveyard, home of the Grave Rattlers and the roaming boss Hollowmaw. It only exists during Halloween; anyone still inside when the event ends is taken back to Aeven.
Quest: The Pumpkin Keeper's Curse
Talk to the Pumpkin Keeper near the town square, collect 5 Enchanted Pumpkin Fragments from the cursed creatures, follow the trail with Hazel's help to the cursed shrine in the Hollow Graveyard and defeat Hollowmaw.
Reward: the Haunted Pumpkin pet, 5,000 gold, 2,500 experience and the title Curse Breaker — once per character. Full walkthrough: The Pumpkin Keeper's Curse.
The quest can only be started while Halloween is on. If you do not finish in time, your progress waits for next year.

While Halloween is on, every monster you defeat also has about a 1 in 41 chance to give you Halloween Candy (1–3 pieces) on top of its normal drop. Each piece restores 40 HP.
