When your HP reaches 0 you are defeated. The good news:
- you keep all your items, gold and experience;
- your equipment and pet stay with you.
Where you reappear
You return to your home point:

Avoiding defeat
- Keep potions on your hotbar and watch your HP.
- Never sit near monsters: sitting players are always hit.
- Do not turn your back on monsters: hits from behind are critical.
- Aggressive monsters chase you, but give up when you get far enough away.
