Getting Started

How to create an account and start playing

Create a free Alduin Online account, make your first character and step into the world, all from your web browser.

Alduin Online is played at game.alduin-online.com. All you need is a web browser on a computer, tablet or phone.

Creating your account

    Open the game

    Go to game.alduin-online.com (the Play Free button on this website takes you there).

    Choose Create Account

    On the main menu, click Create Account.

    Fill in the form

    Choose a Username and a Password (type it twice), and fill in your Full Name, Location and Email. Your email address is used if you ever need help with your account; it is never shown to other players.

    Log in

    Back on the main menu, click Login, enter your username and password and press Connect. Tick Remember Me on your own device to log in faster next time.

Making your character

After logging in you see your character slots. One account can have up to 3 characters. Click New Character and choose:

  • Name: up to 12 letters. Other players see it above your head.
  • Gender: female or male.
  • Hair Style and Hair Color. Male characters can also choose a Beard.
  • Skin.

Click Create, select your new character and press Login to enter the world. You can change your hair later at the barber; see Character customization.

Where you start

Every new character begins in the Starting house on Beginner Island, at level 0, as a Peasant. You choose your real class later. The First 30 Minutes guide shows you what to do next.

Staying safe

  • Never share your password with anyone, including people who say they are staff.
  • If someone breaks the rules, use Report in the right-click menu on their character, or the Report a Player page.
